Lowering Your Blood Pressure
You do not want to have high blood pressure. That is know as the hypertension. You do not want to overwhelm your blood pumping through your heart and you do not want to clog up your arteries and there's many reasons for that.
Most people have no symptoms of high blood pressure but it is recommended to check your blood pressure to make sure that you are actually in the normal range. Get that done at-least once every 3 months or less. This is why it's essential to always get your physical done.
Sodium contributes to high blood pressure. Make sure to lower your sodium intake. Consuming too much sodium can have you retain water and can have consequences. Try not to consume more than 2,300 mg of sodium per day. I even see people eat as much as 3,00 mg of sodium per day or more and kept complaining of water retention and high blood pressure.
Ways to lower your high blood pressure can also be attained by eating six to eight servings of grains and make sure to eat your recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables.
Get used to looking at nutritional facts. Take a look at the sodium content. This is essential to do anyway if you are trying to lose weight, is to make sure you are burning calories more than you are consuming it.
Start lowering your fat content and start supplementing your snacks with nuts and seeds as to they have good health benefits.
It's not just the food you eat that contributes to high blood pressure. You have to change your lifestyle. Reduce your BMI or your fat percentage and start exercising. You will thank yourself later. It's recommended to do 75 to 150 minutes of exercise per week. You can spread that out and do more.
Another major contributor to high blood pressure is alcohol. Reduce drinking and also your tobacco intake. Remember this is a lifestyle change!
One major factor is stress! Find what is causing you stress and ways to cope for example meditations or overall fix and have alternatives and solutions to you stress causing situations.
If it gets really bad, please see a doctor. You can check your blood pressure at some supermarkets due to they have free machines you can use to check your blood pressure.
Take control of your life! Goodluck!

Next is to figure out how many reps and how many sets you should do. More like you should do more than 4 or 5 reps. If you're just started lifting, try lifting 10-30 lbs of free weights to get started.
To get the most effective lifting, make sure to lift slowly, have the right form and make sure to do full reps and not half way.
Doing fewer reps slowly and properly can have you better maximize on super-heavy lifts.

One of my favorite workout is the bench press, but make sure to have a spotter when necessary. This involves lifting weights straight up from your chest while laying on your back. This will build your biceps and your chest area and can lead you to looking pretty buff.
Make sure you have a plan on what area of your body water that is biceps or legs or chest day. Make sure you focus on a specific part of your muscle on a day of the week.
Lifting weights requires persistency and consistency.
Have a 1-2 day rest day and a 5-6 day of listing per week. Make sure to add weights when sets or your reps become easier to lift. Don't forget to have your protein meal and make sure you're eating plenty of calories to feed your body to progress and help it repair your muscles.
